Claudia Nice
Claudia Nice was a native of the Pacific Northwest and a self-taught artist who developed her realistic art style by sketching from nature. She spent over 15 years traveling across North America as an art consultant, conducting seminars, workshops, and demonstrations. Her relaxed, informative method of instruction was geared to put beginners at ease and encourage seasoned artists. Nice authored over a dozen successful books on art instruction, many of which were translated into foreign languages. Her artwork won numerous awards and was featured in leading art instruction magazines. She was known for her work with pen, ink, and watercolor, and her books often focused on creating textures and realistic depictions of nature.
