Tom McNeal
Tom McNeal is an American novelist and short story writer. He was educated at the University of California and Stanford University. His short fiction has been included in "Best American Short Stories," "The O. Henry Prize Collection," and "The Pushcart Prize Collection." His short story "What Happened to Tully" was adapted into the movie "Tully." He has also co-authored four young adult novels with his wife, Laura Rhoton McNeal. His novel "Goodnight, Nebraska" won the James A. Michener Prize and the California Book Award, and "Far Far Away" was a finalist for the National Book Award and the Edgar Award.
