Tarquin Hall

Tarquin Hall is an English writer and journalist known for his Vish Puri mystery series. Born in London in 1969, he has lived and worked extensively in South Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His career began in journalism, reporting from places like Afghanistan and East Africa, and he later worked in TV news, including a stint as South Asia bureau chief for Associated Press TV. Hall has authored several non-fiction books, including "Salaam Brick Lane" and "To the Elephant Graveyard." His fiction debut was "The Case of the Missing Servant," which introduced the character of Vish Puri, India's Most Private Investigator. He is married to Indian-born journalist Anu Anand, and they have two children.
