Catriona McPherson
Catriona McPherson is a Scottish writer, born in South Queensferry in 1965. She holds a Master of Arts degree in English Language and Linguistics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Linguistics, both from the University of Edinburgh. Before becoming a full-time writer in 2005, she worked in banking, libraries, and academia. McPherson moved to California in 2010 and lives on Patwin lands. She is known for her Dandy Gilver series of historical mysteries, her Last Ditch mysteries set in California, and her contemporary psychological thrillers. Her work has won numerous awards, including the Agatha Award, Anthony Awards, Lefty Awards, and Macavity Awards.
