Scott Pratt
Scott Pratt was a Wall Street Journal and Amazon bestselling author known for his legal thrillers, particularly the Joe Dillard series. He drew on his experience as a former criminal defense attorney in Johnson City, Tennessee, to write his novels. His books have sold over 7 million copies worldwide in more than ten languages. Pratt was born in South Haven, Michigan, served in the U.S. Air Force, and earned degrees in English and law. He passed away in November 2018, and his son, Dylan Pratt, continues to manage his literary legacy and has even completed some of his series. Pratt's work has been compared to that of John Grisham, Michael Connelly, and Lee Child.
