She was the editor of Kindred Spirit magazine for over ten years and has contributed to numerous leading women's magazines and national newspapers, including The Times and The Guardian. Gillman has authored over 30 books, covering topics such as parenting, fitness, natural health, and writing. She has also written children's books under the pen name Rory Storm. Her latest book, "Learning to Love the Spaces in Between," was published in 2023. She is also a mentor for Jericho Writers.
