Jeremy Scahill
Jeremy Scahill is an American investigative journalist, author, and activist known for his work on warfare, private military contractors, and U.S. foreign policy. He is a co-founder of the online news publication The Intercept and, more recently, Drop Site News. Scahill began his journalism career at Democracy Now! and has reported from numerous conflict zones around the world, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, and Yemen. His books include the international bestsellers "Blackwater: The Rise of the World's Most Powerful Mercenary Army" and "Dirty Wars: The World Is a Battlefield." The latter was adapted into an Academy Award-nominated documentary film.
