
Matthew Quick
Matthew Quick is a New York Times bestselling author known for his novels that often explore themes of mental health, grief, friendship, love, and resilience. He previously taught high school English before becoming a full-time writer. His debut novel, 'The Silver Linings Playbook,' was adapted into an Oscar-winning film. Quick's work has been translated into over 30 languages and has received critical acclaim, including a PEN/Hemingway Award Honorable Mention and a Los Angeles Times Book Prize finalist nod. He lives with his wife, novelist Alicia Bessette, on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
