Natsume Akatsuki is a Japanese light novel author and manga writer, best known as the creator of the KonoSuba series. He began his writing career by posting works on the user-generated novel website Shōsetsuka ni Narō under various pseudonyms before officially debuting with the light novel KonoSuba in 2013. His works are characterized by comedy, fantasy, and often subvert typical genre tropes.
