Sara E. Johnson is a mystery writer known for her Alexa Glock Forensic Mysteries series, which is set in New Zealand. She spent nine months exploring the country, which inspired her writing. Johnson has a BA in Journalism and an MA in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously worked as a middle school reading specialist and a newspaper contributor. Johnson is a graduate of the Durham Citizen Police Academy and is a past President of Triangle Sisters in Crime and a member of the North Carolina Writers' Network. She lives in Durham, North Carolina, with her husband.
