Alexandra Lapierre

Alexandra Lapierre is a French novelist, biographer, and short story writer, known for her works that bring to life historical figures and overlooked moments in history. She is the daughter of French writer Dominique Lapierre. Lapierre graduated from the Sorbonne and the University of Southern California, where she studied storytelling. Her books have been translated into over twenty languages and have received numerous awards, including the "Grand Prix des Lectrices de ELLE" for her biography of Fanny Stevenson and the "Prix des Romancières" for "Between Love and Honour." Her novel "Artemisia" became an international bestseller, and "The Woman of a Thousand Names" was awarded the "Grand Prix de l'héroïne Madame Figaro."
