Daniel O'Malley

Daniel O'Malley is an Australian science fiction and fantasy writer, known for his Checquy Files series. He graduated from Michigan State University and earned a Master's Degree in medieval history from Ohio State University. He returned to his childhood home in Australia, where he works for the Australian Transport Safety Bureau. His first novel, 'The Rook,' published in 2012, won the Aurealis Award for Best Science Fiction Novel and was adapted into a television miniseries.
