Eithne Shortall

Eithne Shortall is an Irish author and journalist. She was born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, and studied journalism at Dublin City University. Shortall has lived in London, Paris, and the US, but now resides in Dublin with her partner and two children. She worked as an arts journalist for The Sunday Times (Ireland) for most of her adult life before becoming a full-time author. Her novels often explore themes of family dynamics, relationships, and community secrets, combining sharp observation with emotional depth. Her debut novel, 'Love in Row 27,' was a bestseller and optioned for a TV series. Her other notable works include 'Grace After Henry,' 'It Could Never Happen Here,' 'The Lodgers,' and 'Three Little Truths.' She has also worked as a TV and radio presenter.
