Diane Wilson is a Dakota writer, educator, and bog steward, enrolled on the Rosebud Reservation. She is the author of several award-winning books, including the novel "The Seed Keeper," the memoir "Spirit Car: Journey to a Dakota Past," and the nonfiction book "Beloved Child: A Dakota Way of Life." Her work often explores themes of Indigenous food sovereignty, cultural recovery, and environmental stewardship. Wilson is also the former Executive Director for the Native American Food Sovereignty Alliance and Dream of Wild Health. She lives in Shafer, Minnesota.
