Sherman Alexie
Sherman Alexie is a prominent Native American novelist, short story writer, poet, screenwriter, and filmmaker. Born on the Spokane Indian Reservation in Washington, his work frequently draws on his experiences as an Indigenous American, exploring themes of identity, poverty, and reservation life with a blend of humor and serious social commentary.
