Suzanne Weyn
Suzanne Weyn is an American author born on July 6, 1955, in Flushing, New York. She primarily writes children's and young adult science fiction and fantasy novels, and has authored over fifty novels and short stories. She is best known for "The Bar Code Tattoo," "The Bar Code Rebellion," and "The Bar Code Prophecy." Her work has been recognized with nominations for prestigious awards, including the Jugendliteraturpreis in Germany and the Nevada Library nominee for Young Adult literature. Weyn holds an associate's degree from Nassau Community College and a bachelor's degree from Binghamton University. She has also worked as an editor for various publications and taught writing at universities. Weyn currently resides in upstate New York with her husband and two daughters.
