Fred Van Lente
Fred Van Lente is a six-time New York Times bestselling comics writer, novelist, and playwright whose work spans mystery/thrillers, historical fiction, superheroes, and comedy. He co-founded Evil Twin Comics with artist Ryan Dunlavey, producing non-fiction comics like 'Action Philosophers!' which received critical acclaim and awards. Van Lente has had a prolific career at Marvel Comics, writing titles such as 'Incredible Hercules,' 'Marvel Zombies 3 & 4,' and 'The Amazing Spider-Man.' He has also written for DC Comics, Archie Comics, Dark Horse, BOOM! Studios, and Valiant Entertainment, where his run on 'Archer & Armstrong' was nominated for a Harvey Award. His work has been adapted into other media, including the film 'Cowboys & Aliens' and the MCU character Helen Cho. Van Lente is also known for his historical thrillers and middle-grade series.
