Ed Brubaker

Ed Brubaker (born November 17, 1966) is an American comic book writer, cartoonist and screenwriter, best known for revitalizing noir crime comics and for long-standing collaborations with artist Sean Phillips. His creator-owned work includes Criminal, Fatale, The Fade Out and Kill or Be Killed; he is also noted for influential superhero runs on Captain America (co‑creating the Winter Soldier), Batman, Catwoman and Daredevil. Brubaker has won multiple Eisner and Harvey Awards and has worked in television and film, including roles as writer/producer on projects such as Westworld and Too Old to Die Young.
