Gail Bowen

Gail Dianne Bowen (born Gail Dianne Bartholomew) is a Canadian novelist, playwright and educator best known for the Joanne Kilbourn mystery series set in Saskatchewan. A former university professor, Bowen has written numerous crime novels, radio plays and stage works; several of her Kilbourn novels were adapted for Canadian television. She has received multiple awards for her crime fiction and was awarded the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.
