David Macdonald Devine (1920-1980) was a Scottish author of crime fiction who also wrote under the pseudonym Dominic Devine. He was born in Greenock, Scotland, and passed away in 1980. Devine earned degrees in administration from the University of Glasgow and the University of London. He worked in business and university administration before becoming a full-time writer. He is known for his crime novels, many of which were published under the D.M. Devine or Dominic Devine pseudonyms.
