Jon McGregor
Jon McGregor is a British novelist and short story writer, born in Bermuda in 1976. He grew up in Norfolk, England, and now lives in Nottingham. He studied Media Technology and Production at Bradford University. McGregor's first novel, 'If Nobody Speaks of Remarkable Things,' was longlisted for the Booker Prize in 2002, making him the youngest contender at the time. He has since been longlisted for the Booker Prize two more times. His works have received numerous accolades, including the International Dublin Literary Award for 'Even the Dogs,' the Costa Book Award, the Betty Trask Prize, and the Somerset Maugham Award. McGregor is also a professor of creative writing at the University of Nottingham, where he edits 'The Letters Page,' a literary journal.
