Rachel Cusk

Rachel Cusk (born 8 February 1967) is a British novelist and writer, born in Saskatoon, Canada, and raised partly in Los Angeles and the UK. She studied English at New College, Oxford. Cusk is known for both fiction and non-fiction, including the Outline Trilogy (Outline, Transit, Kudos), memoirs such as A Life's Work and Aftermath, and later novels including Second Place and Parade. Her work often experiments with form and explores themes of identity, motherhood, marriage, and the mechanics of narrative.
