Uri Bar-Joseph is a professor emeritus in the Department for International Relations at Haifa University in Israel. He specializes in national security, intelligence studies, and the Arab-Israeli conflict. He earned his PhD from Stanford University and has authored several books on these topics, including "The Angel: The Egyptian Spy Who Saved Israel" and "The Watchman Fell Asleep: The Surprise of the Yom Kippur War and Its Sources."
