Alfred Kazin
Alfred Kazin was an American literary critic and author, known for his studies of American literature and his autobiographical writings. Born to Russian Jewish immigrants, he grew up in Brooklyn and attended the City College of New York. He became a prominent figure among "The New York Intellectuals." Kazin's work often explored the immigrant experience, American culture, and the evolution of American literature. He taught at various universities and received numerous accolades for his critical contributions.
