Katharine Kerr (born October 3, 1944) is an American novelist best known for the Deverry Cycle, a long-running series of Celtic-influenced high fantasy novels. She began her career writing for role-playing game magazines and has published numerous fantasy and science fiction works since the mid-1980s.
