Lynn Flewelling (born Lynn Elizabeth Beaulieu on October 20, 1958) is an American author best known for the Nightrunner series and the Tamír Triad. Her work is dark-tinged fantasy that often blends elements of adventure and horror and features LGBTQ-affirming and feminist themes. Born and raised in northern Maine, she has worked as a teacher, house painter, necropsy technician, freelance editor, and journalist. She lives in Southern California and remains active as a writer and workshop instructor.
