Aaron Blabey (born 1 January 1974) is an Australian author, illustrator and former actor best known for bestselling children’s series including The Bad Guys, Pig the Pug and Thelma the Unicorn. He began publishing picture books in 2007 and later created the graphic-novel-style The Bad Guys series, which reached The New York Times #1 spot and was adapted into a DreamWorks animated feature film. Blabey lives in New South Wales and has worked as an artist and designer in addition to his writing career.
