Robert Munsch
Robert Norman Munsch (born June 11, 1945) is an American-born Canadian children's author known for exuberant, exaggerated stories developed interactively with children. He moved to Canada in 1975, published numerous picture books including Love You Forever and The Paper Bag Princess, and received recognition such as the Order of Canada. Munsch stopped writing and touring after a dementia diagnosis in 2021 and has since announced plans to pursue medical assistance in dying.
