Tui T. Sutherland

Tui T. Sutherland is an American children's book author, born on July 31, 1978, in Caracas, Venezuela. She is best known for her bestselling "Wings of Fire" series, which features dragons and has sold millions of copies worldwide. Sutherland has written over 60 books under her own name and various pen names, including "Pet Trouble," "The Menagerie" trilogy, and contributions to the "Warriors" and "Seekers" series as part of the Erin Hunter team. She also wrote adaptations for "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Little House on the Prairie" spin-offs. Before becoming a full-time author, she worked as an editor in children's book publishing. Sutherland graduated from Williams College with a degree in English Literature in 1998. She currently resides in Boston, Massachusetts.
