Michael Palin

Sir Michael Edward Palin (born 5 May 1943) is an English actor, comedian, writer and television presenter. He was a member of the Monty Python comedy group and is widely known for his travel documentaries and accompanying books (including Around the World in 80 Days, Pole to Pole, Sahara and Himalaya). He has written both travel non-fiction and children's books and has received numerous honours including a BAFTA Fellowship and a knighthood.
