Chris Cleave

Chris Cleave (born 1973) is a British novelist and journalist best known for Incendiary, The Other Hand (published in the U.S. as Little Bee) and Everyone Brave Is Forgiven. Born in London and raised in Cameroon and Buckinghamshire, he studied experimental psychology at Balliol College, Oxford. His work often explores moral complexity, identity, migration and social justice; his debut won the Somerset Maugham Award and Little Bee was an international bestseller. He lives in the UK with his family.
