Gerald DiPego

Gerald DiPego (born July 22, 1941) is an American screenwriter, producer and novelist. He has written screenplays for more than thirty films including Phenomenon, Message in a Bottle, Instinct and The Forgotten, and has published novels, short stories and a guidebook for writers. A native of the Illinois lake towns, DiPego lives in California's Santa Ynez Valley and writes fiction often touched with elements of magical realism.
