Lauren DeStefano (born October 13, 1984) is an American author best known for her young adult dystopian series The Chemical Garden (Wither, Fever, Sever). She earned a BA in English with a concentration in creative writing from Albertus Magnus College and has written both young adult and middle-grade fiction, including The Internment Chronicles and standalone works such as The Glass Spare.
