Nancy Kress

Nancy Anne Kress (born Nancy Anne Koningisor) is an American science fiction author best known for her Hugo- and Nebula-winning novella "Beggars in Spain" and for work exploring genetic engineering and near-future hard science fiction themes. She has published dozens of novels and short-story collections, won multiple Nebula and Hugo Awards, and has taught and lectured widely while contributing columns to Writer's Digest.
