Laurie Gelman

Laurie Gelman is a Canadian-born author and former broadcaster who spent about 25 years in television in Canada and the United States before turning to fiction. She is best known for the humorous Class Mom series (including Class Mom and You've Been Volunteered) and later novels such as Yoga Pant Nation and Smells Like Tween Spirit. Gelman has appeared on national television programs and lives in New York City with her husband, Michael Gelman, and their daughters.
