Hanya Yanagihara

Hanya Yanagihara (born September 20, 1974) is an American novelist, editor, and travel writer. She grew up in Hawaii and has worked as an editor and writer for Condé Nast Traveler and as an editor at T: The New York Times Style Magazine. She is best known for her novels The People in the Trees (2013), A Little Life (2015) — which received widespread critical attention — and To Paradise (2022).
