Ronald W. Hawker

Ronald W. Hawker is a scholar of Northwest Coast and Canadian Indigenous art. He has served as an associate professor in art and design (including positions at Zayed University and the Alberta College of Art and Design) and has published books on First Nations art and artists, including Tales of Ghosts: First Nations Art in British Columbia, 1922–61 and Yakuglas' Legacy: The Art and Times of Charlie James. He has lived and worked in Canada and, more recently, on Prince Edward Island.
