Candace Bushnell
Candace Bushnell (born December 1, 1958) is an American author, journalist and television producer best known for creating the column and anthology Sex and the City, which inspired the HBO television series and subsequent films. She is the author of multiple bestselling novels including 4 Blondes, Trading Up, Lipstick Jungle, One Fifth Avenue, The Carrie Diaries and Summer and the City. Bushnell began her notable column-writing career at The New York Observer and has had several of her works adapted for television.
