Hope Jahren

Hope Jahren (born September 27, 1969) is an American geochemist and geobiologist, known for her research using stable isotope analysis and for her bestselling science memoir Lab Girl (2016). She has held academic positions at institutions including the University of Hawaii and the University of Oslo, and is an advocate for science communication and for women in science.
