Alyssa Satin Capucilli

Alyssa Satin Capucilli (born November 2, 1957) is an American author of more than 150 children's books, best known for the Biscuit series of early-reader/picture books. A former professional dancer, she holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and has written picture books, leveled readers and nonfiction for young children. Her Biscuit books have sold millions of copies worldwide and are a staple of early-reading collections.
