Hugh Brody

Hugh Brody (born 1943) is a British anthropologist, writer, documentary filmmaker and lecturer. His work spans ethnography, film and essayistic non-fiction, often focused on Indigenous peoples of the Arctic, Canada and southern Africa. Notable books include Maps and Dreams and The Other Side of Eden; he has also worked on documentary films and contributed to public inquiries and land-use projects involving Indigenous communities.
