Saara El-Arifi

Saara El-Arifi is a British author of Sudanese and Ghanaian heritage, best known for epic fantasy works (The Ending Fire trilogy) and for branching into historical fiction with Cleopatra. Raised in Abu Dhabi and later based in the UK, she holds a BA in Theatre Studies (University of Kent) and an MA in African Studies (SOAS). Her debut, The Final Strife, and subsequent novels have earned bestseller recognition and wide critical attention.
