
Laura Ingalls Wilder
Laura Ingalls Wilder (1867–1957) was an American writer best known for the Little House series—semi-autobiographical children's books based on her childhood in a pioneer family. Her work shaped modern perceptions of 19th-century American frontier life and has been widely read by children and adults; it also inspired television and other adaptations.
