Karen Thompson Walker
Karen Thompson Walker is an American novelist and assistant professor of creative writing at the University of Oregon. Born and raised in San Diego, California, she earned degrees in English and creative writing from UCLA and completed an MFA at Columbia University. Before her success as a novelist, she worked as a journalist and as a book editor at Simon & Schuster. She is best known for her speculative fiction novels, including 'The Age of Miracles' and 'The Dreamers'.
