Kaui Hart Hemmings

Kaui Hart Hemmings is an American author born and raised in Hawaii. She is best known for her debut novel, The Descendants (2007), which was a New York Times bestseller and adapted into an Academy Award-winning film. She holds degrees from Colorado College and Sarah Lawrence College and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow at Stanford University.
