Heidi W. Durrow
Heidi W. Durrow is an American author, podcaster, and former corporate lawyer. She is best known for her debut novel, 'The Girl Who Fell from the Sky', which won the 2008 PEN/Bellwether Prize for Socially Engaged Fiction. Born to a Danish mother and an African-American father, she spent her childhood in Turkey, Germany, and Denmark before settling in the United States. She is also known for her work in the multiracial community, including hosting the 'Mixed Chicks Chat' podcast and founding the Mixed Remixed Festival.
