Peter Rimmer

Peter Rimmer (1937–2018) was a British-born South African historical fiction author best known for his sweeping multigenerational sagas, most notably 'The Brigandshaw Chronicles'. Born in London, he later moved to Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and South Africa, where he worked as a farmer and businessman before dedicating himself to writing. His novels often draw on his experiences in Africa and his vivid memories of his upbringing in England.
