Nancy Richler (1957–2018) was a Canadian novelist and writer known for her nuanced exploration of history, displacement, and identity. Born in Montreal, she spent much of her adult life in Vancouver before returning to Montreal. Her works, including 'Throwaway Angels', 'Your Mouth Is Lovely', and 'The Imposter Bride', earned critical acclaim, including a Scotiabank Giller Prize nomination and the Canadian Jewish Book Award for Fiction.
