Iain Gale
Iain Gale is a British author, journalist, and art critic, born in 1959 in London. He is well-known for his historical fiction, particularly his military novels set during the Napoleonic Wars and the Second World War. Before focusing on fiction, he had a successful career as an art critic for publications such as The Independent and Scotland on Sunday. He has also written numerous non-fiction books on art and military history and has served as an editor for various magazines, including Scotland in Trust.
