Ted Harrison

Ted Harrison (1926–2015) was a renowned English-Canadian artist, author, and illustrator, best known for his vibrant, whimsical, and stylized paintings of the Canadian Yukon. Born in England, he served in the military before pursuing art and education. After moving to Canada in 1967, he taught in the Yukon for many years, where he developed his signature artistic style. He gained international recognition for his children's books and illustrations, including his work on Robert Service's poems, and was a Member of the Order of Canada.
